Henna, a natural dye derived from the leaves of the henna plant, has been used for centuries as a beauty product. Women from ancient cultures have applied henna not only as a decorative makeup on their palms, hands, and feet but also as a natural dye for their hair, especially to cover gray strands.

To make henna paste, start with henna powder and mix it with a liquid, such as lime juice or tea water. Let the mixture soak and brew overnight, which allows the dye to release fully.

When using henna on hair, transfer the paste into a bowl and apply it using a brush, making sure to cover the strands evenly. The resulting color can vary from a rusty orange to a deep burgundy red, depending on your hair type and the brew time. It's a natural and unpredictable process, adding a unique touch to your look.

For intricate designs on your hands and feet, you'll need to transfer the paste into a conical tube for precise application. I'm currently busy with exams, but I’ll post a tutorial soon on how to make your own henna cone, so stay tuned!
